Concisely then, it’s a sports gambling facility operative extraneous to the national territory of the player. Internet gaming internet sites are all governed by three organisations. These are OSGA (the Offshore Gaming Association), the IGC (Interactive Gaming Council) and the Fidelity Trust Gaming Association (the FTGA).

bet predicts sports system that win

25 WAYS TO PROMOTE YOU AND YOUR WRITING BUSINESS

© 1999-2003 Maggie Klee Lichtenberg, PCC Writing and Publishing Coach

1. Start with a change you’ll need to make if you plan to be successful: Get over being shy.

2. Have the mindset to consistently take initiatives. Never stop. It’s not enough to create one brilliant direct mail campaign. Repeat the mailing to your list two or three times. And never, never, never take an initiative without following up.

3. Plan one marketing effort each day. Every Sunday evening or Monday morning choose a theme for your week and mark that theme in your calendar each day for the coming week.

4. Develop a PR plan for you and your business. Work with a publicist to land features and interviews. Create a simple press kit that contains your mission statement, a warm and friendly letter including company bio, press coverage, personal testimonials, and a professional b&w photo of you.

5. Show up a lot — be seen. Tell everyone what you’re up to. Always have a book, a press kit, or a flyer about your company ready to give away.

6. Have a short, laser-sharp intro about yourself — 20 words or less — ready to go at all times. Be a graceful, yet tireless, self-promoter.

7. Commit to public speaking. Join a Toastmasters group for six months to increase confidence. Build positive relationships with everyone you play with.

8. Create an audio tape business card and give it away. This is an inexpensive, more three-dimensional opportunity to share an experience of you.

9. Involve yourself in your community on an issue you are passionate about. In the giving you will receive.

10. Offer articles on what you’re doing to local media and professional newsletters. Write about where your passion comes from. Share who you are and why you aredevoting this stage of your life to this endeavor.

The Art Of Wishing On Weddings

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009

A wedding is a very special occasion. A couple deciding to live together forever till they live. Make a family, with children who may become leaders of tomorrow in their own fields. As the time goes forward, weddings are losing their special place. Who knows when the newly weds will file for divorce? Earlier it was not so simple. Divorces were not looked at as a possibility to be exercised easily. How does one wish a newly wedded couple?

What are wishes? What is the role of wishes in a couple’s life? Why do we wish them a happy life together? Let us examine. The first role of a wish is to join the couple in their happiness. Share the happiness. “Yes, I am very happy for both of you. I feel very happy myself on this beautiful occasion. I wish you a lovely life together. Please enjoy your life together. Fight your battles together and share your fruits of labor together. Please bring new children in this world. Make them happy citizens of a happy world.” We have such thoughts and convey our thoughts to the couple in many words. Sometimes, it so happens that watching everybody wishing the couple, we all become mechanical in our wishes. The warmth gets lost. The words lose the deeper meaning and become more of a ceremony to be finished as soon as possible.

We can avoid this happening. When you attend a wedding next, look at the couple carefully. Imagine their future life together. The children, the middle age, and growing old together till death separates them. Imagine the whole life that they will live together. Imagine the pains and the pleasures of their life. Ignore looking at the decorations, the guests and everything else. Focus only upon the couple and you will find a transformation taking place in your thoughts. After this your wishes will be spoken from the heart and your wishes will truly impact the lives of the couple. Make your wishes help the couple in every way. Hundreds of such heart spoken wishes will bring forward such a change that the couple will surely have a beautiful life. Wishes have power. We may not be able to understand that power. But if wishes are made from the heart, that power can destroy many obstacles. Please use that power, because you have it.

Ten Tips to Send Your Audience to Sleep

Monday, January 5th, 2009

Have you ever fallen asleep when listening to a speech or presentation? Sometimes a little nap during a presentation can boost your energy for the rest of the day. Speakers- if you want to be the one to send your audience to sleep, so they will be fully alert for other people’s presentations follow these ten tips.

1. Make sure that your material is dry and boring. Make sure that your material is either highly technical or complex. If at all possible fill your speech with specialized academic content that is not easily understood without prior study and research.

2. Do not include any explanations or illustrations to make the content understandable to the average person in your audience.

3. Schedule your speech to be at the end of a long day or after a big meal. This will give added incentive for drowsiness and lethargy.

4. Speak softly and avoid any expression or vocal variety that might distract or interest your audience.

5. Stand still behind the lectern for the entire speech. Any movement or sudden gestures could wake up your audience.

6. Avoid any variation in style in your presentation. Do not change from talking to using a flip chart, PowerPoint or any other kind of visual aid or prop that will attract attention.

7. Do NOT include any humor or stories in your speech that might illustrate the important points you wish to communicate.

8. Do not keep to the topic of the speech. Spend a large amount of time rambling about subjects or personal experiences that are boring and totally off topic.

9. Speak about a topic that is very familiar to your audience. Keep your content to things that they already know.

10. Provide highly detailed handouts, so that your audience will not miss out on any important information during their snooze. Make sure that you do not say anything that is not included in the hand out. For best results, just read the handout word for word.

Hopefully, by following carefully the ten tips outlined here, you will have the satisfaction of seeing an entire audience snoring quietly and happily throughout your entire presentation. If you do not follow these tips you may be alarmed to discover that your audience is alert and interested in what you have to say.

Find Out the Things To Watch for When Making Mobile Phone Comparisons

Sunday, January 4th, 2009

A large and forever growing phone UK market following the rule of introducing the newest new phone has made it truly tough work for folk to compare mobile deals. Most of the time, there are innumerable aspects that you may need to look into when making cell phone comparisons that some of the very most top ones get forgotten about. Compare Mobile Phones and save money with Mobile Shop.

As a result, you forever end up using a phone which is either too pricey or a cell phone which is not suited for your phone call and text profile. And so we point out in this guide about the 2 most foremost things that mobile phone customers should forever investigate when making mobile purchases. This will probably help people land a mobile phone that at the very least meets the standard criteria cell phone customers are looking for.

The complete mobile market is booming on the basis of superb features like mp3 players that keep getting added every month. Nonetheless, an extraordinarily large majority of people purchase phones based on their appearance, brand image and superb marketing only to regret later when mobile customers see that their astonishing handset lacks an exceedingly standard feature like sending emails or MMS. Many magnificent pricey cell phones sell on the basis of marketing, brand and aesthetics at price tags that are unjustified given the lack of high end features. For e.g. the latest apple Iphone 3G does not let mobile customers forward messages to all. Unfortunately, this phone’s target audience, early 20s, gets to regret the removal of this feature only after spending years worth of pocket money on it. Hence make sure that your wonderful new cell phone has all the features like mp3 players you require before getting it. Since mobile corporations will never tell customers about the stunning features like movie players that their cell phones lack, researching online mobile phone articles is the best way to do it.

Psalms of the Watchman, Hour glass of Eternity

Saturday, January 3rd, 2009

Sand falls The Sun rises The Hour glass is run low. Nations heave Waves roll The moon is ashamed. Clouds are angry Wilst the chao’s reigns Rising and falling, they breathe Heavily, unsustained, and uncontrollable Men of war Bloodshed, hatred, lust, and blindness Apocalypse soon they ask? Soon! comes the answer… From somewhere the answer has arrived From nowhere, from eternity Where do we look they scream All the while the enemy smiles….

In the fields the sand blows Across the hard cracked earth Grains of fruitfulness Dead, long gone. Harvest is no more. Cleanness of teeth Empty bellies Crying, hunger, Flies, sickness, and death Apocalypse soon they ask? Soon! comes the answer From Somewhere the answer comes From nowhere, from eternity Where do we look they scream All the while the enemy smiles. Chao’s earth, Destiny, man is destined For this, from time and eternal It is the end, The Sand has stopped, It is no more, From this the Master stirs.

It is time, a voice echo’s Time, is the resplendant reply Heaven opens, The curtain is thrown back, Lightening pours forth, Armies flow from the breach, A rider, a white horse Word of God… He has arrived. Multitudes of multitudes follow Him This King in brillance of white From Here it can be seen All the while the enemy grimaces. Enemy of enemies cast down, Hope has arrived, It is here, The Kingdom of God. We have waited, we have watched Now it has arrived The Kingdom of God, Brought in by the Son of God The Messiah, Triumphant Yeshua, from above has returned Just as He said He would… And we have waited for Him, This is the Lord… He has saved us…. Seeing Sound: VJs Create Music Videos in 3D

Saturday, January 3rd, 2009

You’ve heard of DJs, now meet the VJ, or video jockey, the newest creative force in music videos, metropolitan night clubs and pop music festivals. In the ’70s, VJs ran film clips and projector slides, but today’s VJ is a live performer who triggers video files in laptop computers using newly-created software to spontaneously create imagery that appears to be in three dimensions.

There are cosmic blue 3D stars that explode, neon-bright planets that implode, and pulsating patterns that can hypnotize you, and that’s just in the first minute of the new VJ Sound Brew video for “Squealorama,” a track from my SONIC TONIC album.

“Welcome to the world’s newest art form,” says John Brewington, who performs as VJ Sound Brew. “We have live integration of computer created designs and the audio from a song. It means spontaneous creativity,” he continued. “One of the newest examples is in the music video for ‘Squealorama’.”

Performed live, the video for ‘Squealorama’ is a high-tech blend of 3D laser and computer imagery that takes viewers on a visual journey to outer and inner space.

Using a software program, Zuma, from a company called 3DMaxMedia, Brewington creates 3D objects live as the song is played. “Today’s VJ can express himself like a painter and a sculptor, with the added excitement of real-time interaction. And when I perform this in a club, I can take in the crowd reaction and make an entirely new video to ‘Squealorama’ or any other song.” This flexibility means every performance by VJ Sound Brew is unique.

Other artists are turning to VJs to augment their live or recorded performances, including pop group *NSYNC, progressive rockers Yes, and trance artist John Laraio, known as Mobius 8.

The real-time graphics capability of Zuma enables Mobius 8 to render audio as visual motion, utilizing 3D imagery, video and lasers.

Up to now, VJs have stayed with very mainstream choices of music. “The ‘Squealorama’ song is controversial,” states Brian Forest, Vice President of G-Man Music & Radical Radio, “because of its 15 pauses during the last two minutes, during which dancers freeze in position up against their partners. Now, the song is finding an even bigger audience on the Internet because of the eye-popping visuals in the VJ Sound Brew music video,” Forest added.

“Music is actually made visual by VJ Sound Brew,” Forest says, “with magical shimmering patterns, hip hypnotic formations, stalactites and stalagmites that shoot out at you, quasars, comets, black holes, and a constantly moving matrix of incandescent anti-matter.”

The creation of a music video used to require days or weeks for preparation and a production schedule that utilized a crew of people, including producer, director, cinematographer, and a host of technical professionals. Now, one person can plan it in a matter of hours and make 3 or 4 real-time performances of the video, with a quick edit to use the best parts of each one.

“Visuals are stimulated and changed immediately and constantly by the audio mix,” Brewington points out, “because the software draws the scenes from audio and midi messages in real-time.”

The imagery produces a strikingly realistic appearance of three dimensions as the viewer seems to be moving over, under, around, and even through glowing, spinning objects. “The result is a harmonious visual confirmation for the mind’s eye, connecting what you see on the screen with the sounds you are hearing,” states Jimmy Hotz of 3dMaxMedia.

Gone are the days of the 12-person “light show” crew from the late sixties or early seventies. More than three decades have passed since the light show was taken to great heights by such legendary artists as Single Wing Turquoise Bird, Glenn McKay’s Head Lights, and Bill Ham’s Light Sound Dimension.

These creators, as well as New Glory Lights, Brotherhood of Light, Joshua Lights, and Diogenes Lantern Works, once formed the visual backdrop (or surround vision, in the case of Ronald Nameth’s work for John Cage’s HPSCHD) for major concerts. But instead of the big crews required for these events, the one-person VJ is now taking over. The speed of creativity is higher than ever, the costs are more reasonable, and the complexity of the animation is spectacular in the extreme.

Never Ask God For Something That You Are Not Ready To Receive

Friday, January 2nd, 2009

This is a true story the events that took place that day are real and in no way fabricated nor exaggerated.

Waking up the morning of June first 1999 seven days before my wife Tonya’s 27th birthday was pretty much like any other morning. I was still a little bit tired because I had stayed up late the night before. But all in all it started out ok. Little did I know the events that were to occur later that day would affect my life forever?

Now before I go any farther let me explain a little bit about my wife. Tonya was a young woman of 26 years old. She had Struggled for quite some time with Alcoholism, Drug addiction, depression, and a mental disorder known as schizoaffective disorder that was well on its way to becoming full blown Schizophrenia.

In case you are unfamiliar with schizoaffective disorder. The most prevalent features are depression, delusions and hallucinations.

Tonya was doing wonderful though, she was taking her medication and was episode free for quite some time. She had even managed to stay drink and drug free for eight months. But that morning shortly after breakfast all that changed.

I had just cleared the table and went in to the bedroom to fine Tonya sitting on the bed shaking and crying, in a panic.

I asked her what was wrong. Her reply made my heart sink and just plane freaked me out.

She replied, “I am Dead.” Rather shocked from her answer I asked, what are you talking about. She didn’t seem to understand my question and continued. “I’m dead and so is my father and they put my back together using his body parts.”

I realized then what was happening. She was having a hallucination. She had become delusional.

I sat down on the bed next to her and took her hand and assured her that she was very much alive and so was her father.

“Oh can we go see him?” She asked wanting proof that in fact her father was not dead.

Wanting desperately to bring some reality back to her I agreed and off to her parents house we went.

Well Tonya’s parents are big racing fans and as it turned out, her Mother and Father had left for the weekend to go to an automobile race. So when we arrived at their home they were not there. This just confirmed in Tonya’s mind that what her delusions were telling her were true. She was more frantic then ever.

I had been through this before with Tonya but never this bad. But I knew that in time it would subside… I hope anyway.

With nothing to do but wait it out and see what was coming next I decided to return to our apartment.

As we were driving towards home Tonya started to come back to reality and gain a bit of composure. This was great for the brief moment it lasted.

No sooner had she started to come back to reality when she blurted out, “I need a drink!”
“Please get me some wine coolers?”

“O.M.G!” What now? Tonya had not had a drop of alcohol for 8 months and now she was demanding a drink.

Knowing what I had already gone through with her past drinking and with the events of that morning. I was quite up set with the thought of her starting to drink again.

“NO!” I will not buy you any wine coolers. You haven’t had a drink in 8 months I’m not going to be the one to help you get started again now. I told her.

Of course this just started a big argument. She wanted wine coolers and she was not going to take no for an answer. One thing about Tonya is that if she wanted something she would be relentless and hound you until she got her way. So we argued the rest of the way home.

It was getting close to the time I had to leave to go to a doctor appointment I had scheduled at noon and Tonya was still hounding me.

“Enough!” I broke and went to the store and bought her the damned wine coolers.

Tonya must have chugged the whole 4 pack because within 15 minuets she was back in my face demanding that I go back to the store and get her more wine coolers.

I all but lost it. I don’t know when I had felt that mad in quite some time. Having to go to my appointment anyway I stomped out in anger. As I slammed the door behind me I raised my hands up to the sky and shouted. “God Take This Woman Away From Me!” And went on to my doctor appointment.

I was at the doctor’s office for the rest of the afternoon. I got home around 5:00 that evening to find the apartment empty. Tonya Was gone and she didn’t leave a note as to where she had gone.

Time went by and Tonya had not come home. So I began to worry a bit. I called around to hospitals and the police. No one had seen nor heard about her. It began to get really late and Still Tonya was not home. By this time worry swelled to panic, I jumped into the car and drove all over town looking for her but she was no ware to be found.

The rest of that night was spent driving and looking or on the phone to hospitals or the police still no sign of Tonya.

The thing is, I knew something had to be wrong. Because despite her obvious faults Tonya loved me and would have never stayed away from home all night with out at least calling. Many times in the past it had gotten late and she would call and say “Honey can you come get me.” And I would.

“But not this time.”

It was about 7:30 Am the morning of the first. I must have dozed off for a few moments. Waking up I searched the room for any sign that Tonya had come home. Nope she was still M.I.A. I had to get up and get on the road. I promised my oldest son that I would teach him how to spray paint the door to my car. I was restoring a Chevy Beretta GTZ and I told him he could help me with it.

Still worried about Tonya I went to pick him up.

We got back to my apartment around 8:30am. As I pulled up in to the parking lot were I was going to perform my auto body masterpiece. One of the men that worked down stares from my apartment came rushing up to tell me. “There is a detective from the police department in my shop looking for you.”

At that moment my heart sank and began to race all at the same time. Half of me hoped that they had found Tonya safe and sound. While the other half just knew that something terrible had happened.

Hesitantly I hurried to the shop down stares from my apartment to meet the detective. At the door a man in a blue suit, black shoes and a two-dollar haircut asked, “Are you Michael Walrath?” “Yes.” I answered. Before I could add anything else he responded. “This is about Tonya.” Then ask me if I would join him in his car.

Once in the car the detective told me the bad news… “Tonya is dead!” It rang out like a gun shot that hat hit me right between the eyes… “Tonya Is Dead!” Some ware deep in side of me I already knew it but that was no consolation. My wife was gone. The woman that I love was gone. The woman that I had been so angry with the day before was gone.

If you could only realize the hurt, panic, sorrow, and guilt I felt at that moment. After all I did leave in a state of rage. I did raise my hands to the air and shout to God. “Please Take This Woman Away From Me!” I did leave not even saying goodbye or telling her that I love her. She Was Gone!

I won’t go into detail of what happened to her here. I will just say that it was not from natural causes nor by her own hand, and it was very brutal.

No I don’t blame God. I also don’t blame myself. And Of course I certainly don’t blame Tonya.

It was not Tonya’s fault that she had a disease. And God has no fault. God searches our harts and he will give us what truly resides with in. As far as my self though even though I know I am not to blame. A part of me knows that if I had been able to pray to God with an understanding of prayer and how to communicate what was in my heart long before this tragedy had ever happen it might not have went down like it did.

This sad but true story has many morals. One could be never leave a loved one in anger with out telling them you love them. There are many more you could derive from this tale. But the one that I am here to stress is, learn to speak to God. Talk to him every day. Tell him what is in your heart and on you mind. Ask him to help and guide you, to give you strength and wisdom. But the most important thing is Never Ask God For Something That You Are Not Ready To Receive.

Here’s A Simple Selling Secret For How To Turn 2 Words… Into $44,590 Dollars… Selling Softdrinks

Thursday, January 1st, 2009

Here’s a proven, and truly easy way to start increasing your sales, immediately.

All you need to do is add these 2 words to your selling system, and you’re good to go.

In fact, this trick’s so good, I wish I could take credit for coming up with it, but the truth is, it comes from a little-known marketing legend.

Here’s the deal:

In 1947, Elmer Wheeler was one of the best-known salesmen of his time. His “Wheeler Institute of Words” developed a “best practices” of selling, by testing a variety of words in over 19 million selling situations.

I’m right in the middle of reading one of Elmer’s most famous books, “Tested Sentences That Sell”.

And here’s a great little selling trick that comes straight out of this book:

Ever go into a restaurant and order a drink?

Of course you have.

And what does your server usually ask you, right after you place your order?

They usually say “Small or large?”, right?

Well, imagine for a moment… you’re the owner of this restaurant.

Do you have any idea how much your sales would increase over time, if… instead of saying “Small or large?” after your customers ordered their drinks … you told your servers to instead, say…

“Large one?”

Let me take the guess-work out of this and make your job easier for you.

Elmer Wheeler tested this experiment out in five-thousand separate selling situations. And the results showed, when your server asked “Large one?”…

7 out of every 10 people, answered “Yes!”

So, let’s say a large soda costs you 35 more than a small soda — are you with me on this? This means, by saying “Large one?”… 7 out of every 10 customers that walk through your door, end up giving you an extra 35 cents!

Now you may be thinking, “So what?… It’s only 35 cents.”

A-h-h-h, but remember….

Little Hinges Swing Big Doors Open!

Follow me here for a minute: If you’ve got 5 servers… and each of them does this with 100 customers a day, this means each of them will be serving large sodas to an extra 70 people a day.

That’s an extra 350 large soda sales a day. (5 servers x 70 large sodas each).

350 extra sales, at 35 each, is $122.50 a day in extra gross sales for you… which translates into $857.50 extra a week, and over 52 weeks, this turns into…

$44,590 Dollars A Year… With ZERO Extra Marketing Costs Involved!

Not bad, hey?

And if your large sodas cost 50 more than your small sodas, in that case, your annual bump in gross sales would be $63,700 Dollars!

70 more? O.K., that one’s easy — just double the 35 figure — now you’re selling $89,180 Dollars more!

See how easy this stuff is?

It’s insane, isn’t it?

But what if you don’t have a restaurant?

How can you use this trick in your business?

Well, let’s say you own a photography store. When people are filling out their forms to get their pictures developed, instead of saying “Singles or doubles?”, you can say “Doubles?”.

If you own a landscaping company, instead of asking “Shrubs and lawn?”, you’d say “Whole yard?”

And if you’re a hairdresser, instead of asking “Cut and shampoo?”, you just say “Shampoo?”

Make sense?

When it comes down to it, the basic premise of this selling trick, is…

If You Don’t Ask… You Don’t Get!

But polishing your request up so it’s “benefit-oriented” to your prospect… makes this work smoothly… effectively… and without looking like you’re trying to “sell more”.

Notice how you’re not asking “Do you want a large soda?” — you’re just saying “Large one?”

See, you’ll have to experiment a little bit to find out what works best in your situation, but not you’ve at least got one helluva head start on things, no?

And can you think of any easier way to make this kind of extra money?

Elmer Wheeler really was a “selling genius” and you’ll pick up quite a bit from him.

And, from the excitement and enthusiasm he comes across with, you know he enjoyed his work.

Here are a few of Elmer’s famous quotes:

“Your first 10 words are more important than your next 10,000.”

“People seldom want to walk over you until you lie down.” And…
